The consultation is my opportunity to get to know you, to find out about your condition and your priorities for attending the herbal treatment.
Questions about your herbal treatment journey and consultations? Here is what you can expect.

Your First/ Initial Consultation.
60 or 90minutes £65 or £75
I will take a full medical history, which means a discussion about your overall health, your systems and overall state of nutrition. I will carry out any necessary medical or physical examinations that are focused on your problem area or condition.
Whilst 60-minutes is usually standard for most conditions or more general health visits, at times more complex conditions may require a longer consultation, and an up to 90-minute appointment is made available. This will be discussed with you on or after booking if you are unsure, or where it is felt more appropriate.

Follow-up Consultation.
Although this can vary from person-to-person, it is usual that after the first follow-up, if the condition is stable then follow-up contacts may then be reduced to every 3 months, with Repeat Prescription Only option available on request.

Repeat Prescription £12
In many conditions it is possible to order repeat prescriptions without consultation. This is subject to the suitability of both the condition, and the type of prescribed herbs, which may require in-person monitoring. In some cases it may be necessary to request follow-up contact appointment, prior to prescription being made available.

Methods of Diagnosis
Various methods or tests may be carried out during your herbal consultation, to help diagnose a disease or condition.
Methods such as Iridology, Western and Chinese Tongue or Pulse diagnosis can be very useful and offer valuable insight into a persons constitution. Often they may help to identify or prioritise areas or weaknesses within the body, where there are multiple conditions that are difficult to separate, or observe through general examination.
However, at times it may also be necessary to consider a condition with a more direct approach, focussing on the conditions’ presenting form. This means that these methods are only included where it is felt beneficial and relevant to the current health-state of the patient visit and diagnosis for herbal treatment, and not as additionally charged services.
These are not currently offered as separate services. Therefore, these are not charged additionally where these are carried out to compliment your herbal treatment plan.
